Applying Promotions and Discounts
Staff with appropriate user permissions can apply discounts, comps and promos.
To do that, follow these instructions:
Select the coupon ticket icon at the top right of the basket (next to customer).
Click on 'Select from List'.
A list of available promotions will be displayed.
Select the required promotion to apply it to the basket.
Tap on the promotion on the basket to remove it.
Automatic Promotions
You may want to enable automatic promotions so a promotion is applied automatically when a basket becomes eligible i.e. contains the required products for the promotion.
To enable automatic promotions, follow these steps:
Click on Menu - top right of the screen
Click on Settings
Select Basket
Enable "Check Promotions On Checkout" - by swiping right until the area becomes green.
Once this is done you can create a new basket and simply click "checkout" to automatically apply discounts which have been set as "automatic" in admin.
