Use this article to create a promotion in Shopwave Admin. A promotion can be a Percentage, Combo or Meal Deal. Is automatic decides whether it applies by itself at checkout.
Steps
In Shopwave Admin, open Promotions and click ADD.
Type a Name.
Choose the Type: Percentage, Combo or Meal Deal.
Switch Is automatic on if the promotion should apply by itself at checkout. Leave it off for a promotion staff choose from the list.
Set the Start Date and End Date.
Click ALL next to Stores, or choose the stores it runs in.
Fill in the details for the type:
Meal Deal: the deal Price, then the Categories, Products and Required Quantity for each line.
Percentage: the Percentage, then the Categories and Products it applies to.
Choose the Days Available.
Add any Terms.
Click SAVE.
What you should see
"Promotion saved successfully" shows.
Good to know
The end date starts as today at 23:59, so a new promotion lasts one day unless you change it.
The date fields in the form use MM/DD/YYYY and a 12-hour clock. The promotions list shows dates as DD/MM/YYYY. Check the dates before you save.
The form saves without a store or a Required Quantity. Check you have filled them in.
If a saved promotion is not in the Active list, check the Expired and Imminent tabs.
