Add a modifier group

Copy a modifier group from another product, or start a new one, from the product's Modifiers +.

Use this article to add a modifier group to a product in Shopwave Admin. You can copy a group from another product or start a new one.

Steps

  1. Open the product in Shopwave Admin.

  2. Click + next to Modifiers. Create Modifier Group opens.

  3. Choose where to start:

    • Under Create From Existing, click the group you want to copy. Groups are listed under the product they belong to.

    • Or choose New Modifier Group to start from blank.

  4. Check the Group Name, Minimum Quantity and Maximum Quantity.

  5. Check the options. Each option has Product, Name Override, Qty, Price, Tax and Tags.

  6. Click SAVE & CLOSE.

What you should see

After a few seconds, "Product saved successfully" shows and the group is listed under Modifiers on the product.

Good to know

  • A copied group keeps the source product's option names and pictures. Change them if they do not suit this product.

  • If the new group does not show on the till, close the app, open it again and log in.
