What you need
An internet enabled device, with access to a modern browser.
A Shopwave Owner or Manager login. See Getting Started with Shopwave Admin.
The Shopwave app uploads sales data to Shopwave Admin when it is online. If there is no connection, the data is kept on the iPad and uploaded when the connection comes back.
Run a report
In Shopwave Admin, click Merchant, then Reports.
Choose a Report type.
Click Date range and pick the dates. Always pick the dates yourself: on 4.4, a report run on the pre-filled dates fails with "please supply a valid date".
To narrow the report, fill in Store IDs, Category IDs or Product IDs. Leave them blank to include everything.
Click Run to see the report on screen, or Export to CSV to download it.
Report types
Many types also come by Hour, Date or Month, for example Product / Month.
Product: sales totals for each product sold.
Category: sales totals of products grouped by category.
Transaction: each transaction in time order.
Stock: current stock levels.
Basket Product: every time a product was sold, so you can see what was in each basket.
Basket Product (Refund): each product sale that was refunded.
Basket Product (Discount): each product sale that had a promotion applied.
Wastage: totals of products wasted each time wastage is recorded.
Basket: sales totals of each completed basket.
Basket (Discount): each basket that had a promotion applied.
Store: sales totals for each store.
Close Out: totals of each close out.
The other fields
Date range: pick a quick range or a custom one. For one whole day, for example 19 February, set From to 19 February 0:00 and To to 20 February 0:00.
Store IDs: enter a store ID to see one store. Store IDs are in the ID column under Stores.
Category IDs: separate several IDs with commas. For a product in a sub-category, enter the sub-category ID. Category IDs are in the ID column under Categories.
Product IDs: separate several IDs with commas. Product IDs are in the ID column under Products.
Import type: shows data from a backup report file made by the Shopwave app, instead of your online data. For advanced users only.
Only completed: shows completed baskets and transactions only. Available when you change the import type.
