Connect Customer Display To Shopwave Point Of Sale

Add your Shopwave Customer Display in POS Settings > Hardware so customers can see their basket.

What you need

  • An iPad that can run the Shopwave POS. See Compatible iPads For Shopwave Point Of Sale.

  • The Shopwave POS installed. See Install the POS from TestFlight.

  • A Shopwave Owner or Manager login.

  • The Shopwave Customer Display set up on a compatible Android device, and its IP address.

  • The display and the iPad on the same network.

Steps

  1. On the iPad, open POS Settings > Hardware.

  2. Tap + at the top right.

  3. In Select Terminal, tap Shopwave Customer Display.

  4. Type a Name you will recognise, for example Front Counter Display.

  5. Under Choose Hardware, tap your display if it shows in the list. If it does not, tap Other....

  6. In Other Hardware, type the display's IP address in Destination Address, then tap the tick.

  7. Leave Send Current Basket on so the customer can see what is in their basket.
