Use this article to connect a printer to the till. POS Settings > Hardware offers auto setup for printers already connected, and + adds one by hand.
Before you start
The printer switched on and connected by USB, network or Bluetooth.
Steps
Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top right of the basket. This opens the basket options menu.
Tap Settings. This opens POS Settings.
Tap Hardware in the list on the left.
Hardware Setup asks whether to use auto setup. Tap Yes.
If no printer is found, No Printers says "Unable to locate any connected printers." Tap Ok.
To add a printer by hand, tap + at the top right.
What you should see
Auto setup adds the printers it finds. The Hardware screen lists them.
Good to know
Hardware Setup asks about auto setup each time you open Hardware.
The No Printers alert can take a few seconds to close. Keep tapping Ok.
