When you change a product in Admin, for example by adding a modifier group, the till does not show the change straight away. Close the POS and log in again so it loads the change.
Before you start
A change saved in Admin, for example a modifier group added to a product.
Steps
In Admin, open the product and tap + by Modifiers.
Under Create From Existing, tap the modifier group you want.
Tap SAVE & CLOSE. Saving can take about 8 seconds.
On the iPad, swipe up from the bottom to leave the POS, as if closing it.
Open the POS again.
Tap Login With PIN.
Enter your 4-digit user ID.
Enter your 4-digit PIN. The title says PIN correct, then LOADING PRODUCTS shows while the menu loads.
Tap the product.
What you should see
Before you log in again, the product goes straight into the basket with no options, because the till has not loaded the change. After you log in again, the product opens with its new options.
Good to know
POS Settings > Merchant > Refresh only reloads your business name and brand colours. It did not load a new modifier group or category.
A group copied with Create From Existing keeps the option names and pictures of the product it came from. Rename them in Admin if they do not suit the new product.
