Add a product with options (modifiers)

A product with options opens a panel when you tap it. You pick the option, and its price adds to the product.

Use this article to sell a product with options, such as extras on a burger. Tapping the product opens a panel where you pick the options, and each option's price adds to the product.

Before you start

  • Modifier groups set up in Shopwave Admin. See Add a modifier group.

Steps

  1. Tap the category tab.

  2. Tap the product. Its panel opens.

  3. Under Mods, tap the option you want. The price updates.

  4. Use + and − to change the quantity.

  5. Tap Done.

What you should see

The basket shows the product with the option under it, at the combined price. For example, a £7.00 product with a £1.20 option shows at £8.20.

Good to know

  • Tapping − past zero makes a negative line, which is a refund. See Refund a product.
