Use this article to choose which channel's prices this iPad charges. A product can have a different price for In-Store, Delivery, Shopify or Take-Out, and POS Settings > Products > Enabled Channels sets which one the till uses.

Before you start

  • Channel prices set in Shopwave Admin. See Set prices, tax and tags for each channel.

Steps

  1. Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top right of the basket. This opens the basket options menu.

  2. Tap Settings. This opens POS Settings.

  3. Tap Products in the list on the left.

  4. Tap Enabled Channels.

  5. Tap the channel, or tap + to add one.

  6. Give it a Title, for example In-Store.

  7. Under Tags, switch on the tag for the prices you want, for example In-Store.

  8. Tap the X at the top left to close POS Settings.

  9. Add a product to the basket and check its price.

What you should see

The till uses the price of the channel whose tag you switched on. For example, a product priced £3.50 In-Store and £6.00 Take-Out charges £3.50.

Good to know

  • A channel with no title shows a long code in the list. Give it a title so you can tell it apart.

  • Each channel also has Default and Symbol.

  • With no channel set, the till may charge another channel's price, for example the Take-Out price. Check a product's price after you set this up.
