Choose which categories show on the till

POS Settings > Products > Enabled Categories switches category tabs off and on for this iPad.

Use this article to choose which category tabs show on this iPad. POS Settings > Products > Enabled Categories switches each category tab off and on.

Steps

  1. Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top right of the basket. This opens the basket options menu.

  2. Tap Settings. This opens POS Settings.

  3. Tap Products in the list on the left.

  4. Tap Enabled Categories.

  5. Switch a category off to hide its tab, or on to show it.

  6. Tap the X at the top left to close POS Settings.

What you should see

A tab you switch off goes at once. A tab you switch back on comes back with all its products. No refresh is needed.

Good to know

  • The setting is for this iPad only.

  • Enabled Categories can list categories that never show as tabs on the till.

  • Categories are created in Shopwave Admin. See Add a category, with or without a parent.
