Print receipts automatically and choose what they show

Auto Print prints a receipt on every sale. The Display settings choose what prints on it.

Auto Print prints a receipt for every sale. The Display settings choose what prints on it. Both are in POS Settings > Components > Receipt.

Before you start

  • A receipt printer set up. See Connect a printer.

Steps

  1. Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top right of the basket to open the basket options menu.

  2. Under Misc, tap Settings. POS Settings opens.

  3. Tap Components in the list on the left.

  4. Tap Receipt.

  5. Switch on Auto Print to print a receipt on confirmation.

  6. Switch on Show Tax to print the tax.

  7. Switch on Show Company Number to print your company number.

  8. Switch on Show Barcode to print an order reference barcode.

  9. Type a receipt Message, for example a thank you.

What you should see

Receipts print on confirmation with the tax, company number, barcode and message you chose.

Good to know

  • The company number and VAT number come from Admin. See Set the business details on your receipts.
