Shopwave Point of Sale runs on an iPad. You set up products, prices and staff in Shopwave Admin at admin.getshopwave.com, and the till picks them up.
What you need
An iPad that can run the current version of iPadOS.
A Shopwave account with an Owner or Manager login.
Your products and at least one store set up in Shopwave Admin.
Set up the till
Install the app. See Install the POS from TestFlight for test builds, or search for "Shopwave Point Of Sale (POS)" in the App Store.
Log in for the first time and choose your ID and PIN. See Log in on an iPad for the first time.
Check the iPad sells for the right store: POS Settings > Stores. See Change the store an iPad sells for.
Connect your card payment provider. See Choose your card payment provider.
Connect a receipt printer. See Connect a printer.
Set how checkout and receipts work in POS Settings > Components. See POS Settings > Components.
Take your first sale
Tap a product to add it to the basket.
Tap Checkout.
Choose how the customer pays: a Cash amount, Exact, Card, or Vou and Cheq under Misc.
Tap Done on the Confirmation screen. A new basket starts.
