Switch User lets another member of staff take over the till with their PIN. Each user keeps their own basket.

Switch User lets another member of staff take over the till with their PIN. Each user keeps their own basket.

Before you start

  • Each person has logged in on this iPad at least once. Users only appear on an iPad after they log in there.

Steps

  1. Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top right of the basket to open the basket options menu.

  2. Under Misc, tap Switch User.

  3. Tap the person taking over. Names show as Surname, First name.

  4. The person taking over enters their 4-digit PIN. VALIDATING USER shows for a moment.

  5. Check the new user is ticked as the Current User, then tap Done.

What you should see

The till is now logged in as the new user, on their own basket with its own number. Switch back the same way.
