Open POS Settings

POS Settings is on the basket options menu. The version of the app shows at the bottom left.

POS Settings is where you set up the till. You open it from the basket options menu. The version of the app shows at the bottom left.

Steps

  1. Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top right of the basket to open the basket options menu.

  2. Under Misc, tap Settings. POS Settings opens.

  3. Read the version at the bottom left, under Sign Out, for example POS Version: 4.4 (269).

  4. Tap the X at the top left to close POS Settings.

What you should see

POS Settings opens on Merchant. The list on the left shows Reports, Stores, Products, Team, then Loyalty, Hardware, Payments, Components, then Sign Out. The rows you see depend on your role. See What each role can see in POS Settings.

Good to know

  • POS Settings is not the iPad's own Settings app. That is Core iPad Settings (cog icon) on the iPad home screen.
